WHY THIS SPEC

One spec,
from filler nozzle to CIP return.

Food lines rarely fail on the compound. They fail on the small things: a hose that keeps a coffee taint after the third CIP cycle, a wall that collapses under vacuum, a colour that migrates into the product. This range is platinum-cured, so there are no peroxide by-products left in the rubber to leach out, and the bore stays glossy enough that dairy protein rinses off instead of building a film.

Wall thickness is chosen by duty rather than habit. Pressure transfer runs 1.5–2 mm; vacuum and pump suction run 3–4 mm with a polyester spiral so the bore does not flatten at 80 °C. Every length is pressure tested, then marked with compound code and batch number before it is packed.

Taste and odour neutral
No peroxide residues and no plasticiser to migrate. Sensory panel clean after 20 CIP cycles at 80 °C.
Steam and CIP stable
200 °C continuous. Holds flexibility through repeated 134 °C steam cycles.
Colour-coded identification
Any Pantone, opaque or translucent. Masterbatch is food-contact approved.
Traceable to the batch
Batch code printed every metre. Certificate of analysis and FDA declaration ship with the order.
OPTIONS

Four ways to specify it

Same compound family, different construction. Mixing two options on one order is common and usually cheaper than splitting the purchase.

Standard Food Tubing

Translucent, general transfer duty

ID 3–19 mm · 1.5–2 mm wall

Suction & Vacuum Hose

Polyester spiral, bore will not collapse

ID 6–25 mm · 3–4 mm wall

Colour-Coded ID Tubing

Five stock colours for line identification

ID 3–12 mm · opaque

High-Temperature Food

Red compound for hot fill and steam

230 °C peak · ID 6–16 mm
WHERE IT RUNS

Applications this line is specified into

01

Beverage filling

Filler nozzles, syrup lines and CIP return. No taste carry-over between SKUs.

02

Dairy processing

Milk and whey transfer. Smooth bore resists protein fouling.

03

Coffee & tea

Hot dispense at 95 °C with a compound that stays neutral.

04

Bottling & packaging

Vacuum pick-up and product feed on high-speed lines.

05

Sauce & paste dosing

3 mm wall for peristaltic and pump suction duty.

06

Potable water

Transfer lines; NSF-listed compound available on request.

DIMENSIONS

FAQ

Questions engineers ask first

Does the tubing ship with an FDA declaration?
Yes. Every food-grade order includes a certificate of analysis and a written declaration of compliance with FDA 21 CFR 177.2600 (rubber articles for repeated use). LFGB test reports are issued per batch on request.
Can it be steam sterilised in place?
Silicone handles saturated steam at 134 °C. What limits life is the number of cycles and the mechanical stress during them, not the temperature itself. For daily SIP we recommend the 3 mm wall version, which resists ovalisation better.
Will it change the taste of the product?
The compound is platinum-cured and contains no peroxide decomposition products, which is the usual source of the "rubber" note in dairy and water. If you are switching from a peroxide cured hose, run one cleaning cycle before first product contact.
What is the minimum order quantity?
100 m per size for stock bores, 300 m for a custom colour, and 500 m for a custom bore or wall combination that needs a new die. Mixed sizes on one order are combined for pricing.
Can you print our brand or a length scale on the tube?
Yes. Pad printing and laser marking are both available, in food-contact approved ink. Artwork and the print position are confirmed on a 5 m sample before the production run.

Need a food-grade sample on your line?

Tell us the bore, wall and the temperature you actually run at. We send a 5 m cut with the batch certificate so your QA can test it before the first purchase order.
